Grounding is so important.

Another way to do it is to immerse yourself in water, preferably at the beach or lake. Walk on the sand barefoot and soak in the water; all the charge will leave your body.

A bath works, too, but not to the same degree.

I am all about going outside and breathing in the fresh air - whenever I am struggling I grab my dog and we go for a walk and we instantly feel better.

Great practice advice. These and similar are part of my usual toolbox. Progress not perfection…

I have found the better prepared I am, the better those habits kick into high gear when needed. Time has certainly helped a great bit in that process.

Agreed brother. It’s taken years to get to this point where I’m actually able to put mindfulness into life application. Still a bit crazy but much happier

Excellent suggestions!

I also use the 5-4-3-2-1 technique a lot and like to incorporate it with the physical act of crochet in order to make it even more grounding.
